Pretty in Pink

Hello lovelies!

Since it has been spring and summer finally feels like it might be coming here in the UK I have really been enjoying pink. I think that pink is such a beautiful spring time colour and so I have been obsessed with creating a pink eyeshadow makeup look and also I have been enjoying wearing a little bit of pink on my lips. So today I am just sharing the products which have been my go to throughout spring.

First I have the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. I have mentioned this before and I am obsessed with this palette right now! I mean if you don’t like pink toned eyeshadows then you won’t like this palette but I think it’s gorgeous and has some beautiful shades with a good mix of shimmer and matte shades. It’s just the perfect palette for creating a pink look!

Next I have my Chanel lip gloss. I have been into wearing gloss recently and I am not sure why. I have either being wearing this one its own or I have been layering this on top of a lipstick. Either way, it looks incredible. Chanel products are obviously expensive but I think they are definitely worth the money! The quality is fantastic and the packaging is so beautiful. So simplistic and classy yet so effective!

Still on lips, as an alternative and for the days when I am feeling braver, I have this Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick. I am say for the days when I am feeling brave because it is super bright! It is a lovely bright pink and looks great with bronzed skin or natural tan and is definitely spring/summer ready. If you have been reading my blog for a while, you will know that I really rate the Rimmel Kate Moss lipsticks. They are drugstore so really affordable but the quality is phenomenal and very comparable to higher end lipsticks. I love them!

For nails I have been obsessed with the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel nail varnishes. I actually have had these for while now but I still love them. They are a great alternative to not going to get a manicure, which we all know is super expensive, and last so long. So if you are low maintenance with your nails then definitely check these out. You apply your colour of choice and I must say they are so pigmented and then apply a top coat and wait to dry. So easy but they look so good!

Other things I have been reaching for is my ever favourite rose gold Michael Kors watch. I love this watch so much, especially in spring and summer. I think it is just so perfect for the seasons and finishes your look off perfectly. Also, I just included one of my favourite mascaras – the L’Oreal Miss Manga Mega Volume Black Angel Mascara. I love this mascara! It creates insane volume without being clumpy and really lengthens and lifts your lashes too. What more could you want from a mascara? LOVE it!!

Hope you have all enjoyed seeing my favourite pink makeup bits and pieces for the spring and summer seasons. I just think they are such as great time to wear a bit more pink and add a little colour to your makeup. Thank you for reading. Much love,

April Favourites

Happy May everyone. It’s that time again! With the beginning of a new month comes a favourites post from the previous month. So today I am going to be sharing with you everyone that I loved in the month of April.

L’Oreal Miss Manga Mascara – I am pretty sure I have already featured this a favourites already but I just absolutely LOVE this mascara. I have worn it every single day! It lasts all day on my lashes and defines, separates and adds so volume to my lashes. I absolutely love the look it did and it even lasted all day in Florida as well even in warm weather! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone!
Garnier Afters sun – This has been a lifesaver for me in April. Since I have been away and developed a tan, my skin has for obvious reasons become so incredibly dry. On my body I tend to get dry skin anyway on my arms and legs but it is amplified so much when I have a tan. This has worked so well in moisturising my skin and prolonging my tan. It has been an absolute lifesaver. LOVE it!
Collection Velvet Kiss lip cream – I have featured this in my favourites (again – maybe?) this month because like with the mascara I have been wearing it literally every single day.  I love the colour of the product (nudey brown). It is so easy and simple to wear with anything and completes any makeup look. I love that it dries matte and for how inexpensive this product is, it lasts so well.
FLORIDA – This was an obvious one to be featured in my favourites for April. Vacation in Florida was definitely one of my favourite moments in the month of April and I loved being away in the sun, getting a tan and having some great experiences and memories. It really was great. If you want to read about my time in Florida you can here and you can also see a haul of everything I brought in Florida here.

Denim skirt from Next – OH MY GOSH!! I am literally obsessed with this denim skirt. I actually got this for my birthday and I have lived it literally everyday since! It’s high waisted and fitted, with the front been a little shorter than the back. It looks so incredibly flattering on and I am in LOVE with it. Honestly love it so much. I have been pairing this with my Adidas superstar trainers and then a fancy top. I got so much wear out of it in Florida.

Pantene smooth and sleek shampoo and conditioner – Okay, so I have really frizzy hair and in humidity it’s even more of a nightmare if that is even possible! Anyway, these have been a lifesaver for my hair. They have been my hair’s best friends. My hair as been loving them and they have definitely minimised the frizz and kept my feeling moisturised and smooth even with all the swimming and sun when holiday!

Other things I have been loving having been Suits and 13 Reasons Why on Netflix. I have been watching Suits for a while now and I almost done with season 6 and I am so excited for the ending. For any of you who don’t know what Suits is, it is an American series about a law firm who hires a fraud (he practices law without having a degree in it). It is honestly so good and funny and I would definitely recommend it. I am planning on doing reviews for both these programmes so I won’t say too much here. 13 Reasons Why, I actually read the book years ago and was quite late to watching the series on Netflix because I was worried it wasn’t going to be as good as the book but it was fantastic and I watched the whole series within a day…ooops haha! I am sure you all know what this is about because there has been so much hype about the programme but it was good and again I will share more of my thoughts in my review post. Let me know if you would like to see that. This programmes hits quite close to home for me.

Lastly in April I have also enjoyed spending time with my boyfriend and going on day trips out.. again posts for those are coming soon. I am just so busy with uni and exams at the moment but they should be up so soon. I have just had the lovelies time with him and enjoyed going on trips with him. Of course I cannot to mention my birthday was also a favourite along with that! My birthday was definitely a highlight within April and a special thank you to my boyfriend for a lovely day and to everyone else who made it special. I really appreciate it and love you all!

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you have enjoyed reading and finding out about what I loved in April. Let me know what you have been loving also because I would love to know. Also, I got another piercing yesterday so let me know if you would like a post on my experience or if there is anything specific you want to see. Much love,

Spring OOTD

Since the weather has been getting nice in the UK and it is finally starting to feel like Spring, I thought I would share with you one of my simple and easy to wear Spring Outfits.  It’s super easy and casual and I just always find myself wearing something like this during the spring.

Featured in the photo:

  • Blue denim high-waisted super skinny Jeans from Primark
  • Black and White striped sleeveless turtleneck from Primark
  • Michael Kors Rose Gold Watch
  • Daisy Perfume by Marc Jacobs

Additionally, to go with this outfit I would usually wear my Adidas Superstar trainers, a black leather jacket if it is a bit colder, my Gucci sunglasses and typically I will have my hair in a half up style with the top half in a messy bun.  In terms of any other accessories I don’t really wear much jewellery so I would just add a handbag of choice. At the moment I have been obsessed with using my Jack Wills bucket bag. It is just the perfect size to fit all your essentials but still not too big. It is definitely my go to Spring bag and one which I think will be perfect for my vacation to Florida as well.

Thank you so much for reading and I hoped you enjoyed reading. Let me know a few of your Spring staples in the comments below. I will see you all very soon. Much love,

London Haul

Today I just have a little haul showing you all the items I picked up when I was in London shopping not too long ago!

I just picked up this simple, plain white, cold-shoulder top up from Primark for £3. I was in need of some staples and basic t-shirts which I could just throw on with anything and this just was perfect for that.
I had ran out of my favourite Soap and Glory moisturiser, so I was in Boots ready to repurchase it, however, I could not find it anywhere! My friend a while back had recommended this Aveeno cream and she says she swears by it so since I couldn’t find the moisturiser  had originally gone in the store for, I thought I would give this one a try.
I picked up this Micellar water by the brand Simple because it was on offer and I just thought I would keep some in for when I ran out of the one I was using.  Plus I love this stuff for taking my makeup off because I have sensitive skin and this is so nice on my skin especially around my eyes.
Whilst in Primark I just had to pick up some more black, skinny, high-waisted jeans. I live in these jeans. They are a great, inexpensive version of the Topshop jeans because they are only £8 and they fit really well and are super comfy. I would definitely recommend them if like me you like the Topshop jeans but want a cheaper alternative for everyday wear.

If you know me you know I love mascaras and I buy far too many of them. For a drugstore mascara, L’Oreal is by far my favourite and so I purchased two. The first one is the new one they have come out with. It is supposed to make you look like you have false lashes which I hope it does because I have never worn false lashes but love the look of them. Personally though my eyelashes are quite long and thick anyway, I don’t really feel the need to wear false lashes although I definitely want to try them so let me know some good ones in the comments please! Anyway I am excited to try this and I have always been impressed with L’Oreal.
This mascara was just repurchase because I love it and it works so well with my lashes. It is such a nice mascara and adds so much volume and length. I would definitely recommend trying this out and L’Oreal mascaras are a great price for the quality of the product.
If you know me at all, you will know I am obsessed with Eeyore! I have a lifesize Eeyore soft toy at my parent’s house. I love Eeyore because he is so cute!  So when I saw this mug in primark which was only £2.50 I just had to buy it. I LOVE it so much. I think is so cute!!
I love the Batiste dry shampoo and I still have some left but I was running low, and this was on offer at £2.48 which I thought was a such good a great price!

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you have enjoyed. Please leave post suggestions, products or your opinions on any of the products I have mentioned. I appreciate everyone’s continued support and I love you all. I will see you all very soon. Much love,

Steakhouse Leicester Review

I hope everyone has had a fantastic week and that you are doing well. This Tuesday was obviously Valentine’s day and as I said in a previous post, my boyfriend and I don’t really celebrate it because we don’t really see the point because we love each other every day regardless so we just went out for a meal and it was lovely. I had a fantastic time.

We went to the Steakhouse in Leicester which is tiny little restaurant in the city centre. The atmosphere was lovely and peaceful. The service was really good with the staff very polite and efficient. The food tasted good as well. I would recommend the food. There wasn’t a huge selection of food though to be quite honest, there was only a few items on the list but nevertheless it was still nice. The food was also quite expensive. I mean it is ridiculously expensive but it is certainly not cheap either. Just as reference as well really, they don’t sell alcoholic drinks either.

Other than that, I had a fantastic time and it was a lovely evening and meal with my boyfriend. We both enjoyed ourselves and I could see me going back in the future!

Thank you so much for reading! Let me know what you did for Valentines day in the comments or what posts you would like to see soon! I hope you all enjoyed and much love as always!

Mini Haul

I hope you are all having a fantastic start to your week. Today I have a mini haul for you. It feels like forever since I did a haul post, but I am sure it wasn’t even that long ago. It is just a mini haul of little essentials that I needed or that I had been wanting to try out for a while so I hope you enjoy!

Nike Dry fit socks. These are thicker than the normal ones and are so comfy and warm. I love them and the pattern is really cute too!
Pro Voke Touch of Silver shampoo and conditioner. As you know I got my hair highlighted at the beginning of December and so I have brought these because they are supposed to protect your hair and the colour of your hair too!
Colgate Max White Luminous toothpaste. I just needed some new toothpaste and wanted to give this one a try. It is supposed to make you teeth whiter all round so I will wait and see if it does!
I have recently been getting into face masks and have been trying to do one once a week. Therefore, I just picked up a few masks when I was out shopping so I have some in ready. I really like them. This one is Blemish Mud.
Another face mask in passion peel off.
Garnier mineral invisible deodorant. I love this deodorant. It lasts so long and doesn’t mark your clothes and again I use needed a new one because I ran out of my dove one, which I also love as well.
If you know me, you know I am obsessed with bralettes because they are just so comfy. I own so many of them. When I was in Primark the other day, I saw this one and just had to buy it. It was such a beautiful colour and looked super cute. I am sure I will get plenty of wear out of this!
I normally wash my hair 2/3 times a week depending on how busy I am and fortunately I am lucky in the fact that my hair isn’t greasy so I can leave it that long without washing it. However, I do always like to spritz a little dry shampoo into my hair for added volume and texture. I got this one because it matched the shampoo and conditioner so I thought it would work well.
I love Simple products. They just work really well with my skin. These were offer the other day when I was shopping so I just picked up a pack for those nights when I am feeling really lazy and tired and cannot be bothered with my full skin care routine, because lets be honest that does happen from time to time!

Thank you so much for reading and I really hope you have enjoyed. Let me know if you have tried any of these products and what your thoughts and opinions on them are. Also, let me know if you would like to see a Valentine’s Day get ready with me sort of post or if you have any requests because I am definitely open to suggestions and ideas! Much love,
