Event Outfit Inspiration

Hello lovelies!

Happy Monday! I hope you are having a great start to your week and are looking forward to the rest of the week. Today I am back with another fashion post, sharing with you my outfit of the night for an event. I posted a photo on Instagram about a week ago now of me at a launch event and since then I have had so many nice comments saying that I looked really nice or asking where I got everything from so I just thought I would do a mini post sharing with you all where I got everything from.

  • Jacket – I actually got this really recently from New Look and I am obsessed with it. I think it is so cute and it is so comfortable. It’s a faux suede biker jacket style with a pin-buckle belt . I got it in black  mainly because it is easy to wear and looks good with pretty much everything. However, in store they have got so many nice colours. They had a grey, khaki, a burnt-orange colour and so many more beautiful colours which were all super cute and so appropriate for the weather. They are £40 which I think is such a good deal for a nice quality jacket. Definitely an Autumn essential.
  • Black, laced crop top – Again this item I actually purchased fairly recently and again is from New look (in fact New look is featured quite a lot in this outfit – they just have so many cute pieces at the moment). I really like this top because it so simple to wear as you can pair with either jeans or a skirt and it looks super cute with both. It fits really nice and isn’t too cropped which I personally like. I don’t like wearing things which are really cropped. Other than that, it is just a really nice lace pattern and I absolutely love it! (£12.99)
  • Skirt – My skirt is from Misguided and is just a simple black denim skirt which is distressed. If you know me, then at the moment you will know that I am all about skirts, especially denim ones, and I wear them all the time. I am not really a fan of jeans simply because I find them uncomfortable but I just think as well that skirts are really flattering on my body type. This skirt is super cute and is really fun to style because you either dress it up or down depending on the look you are going for. I think it is such a good price at £20. That’s so inexpensive for a staple piece like this in your wardrobe.
  • Belt – My belt is just a simple, plain leather belt from Next with a silver buckle. I love this belt so much and I wear it with all my jeans or skirts because like most people, I can never get anything to fit my waist and hips. It is actually an impossible task. I have tried so many times haha. I got this belt a while ago so I can’t remember the price but I remember thinking it was a really reasonable price for a leather belt.
  • Boots – My boots are again from New look and I purchased these only a couple of weeks ago because of I was on the hunt for a simple everyday pair of black heeled boots to wear during the Autumn and Winter seasons. The boots are so comfortable because the heel is a block so it makes them easy to walk in and they aren’t too high either. They are a lovely suede effect and I just think they go perfectly with every outfit and can be dressed up or down depending on your outfit. I just love the simplicity of them and they match my jacket too.
  • Accessories – My handbag is from DKNY which I got a couple of years ago from my sister as a present. My watch is from Michael Kors and is just a simple rose gold design which I love so much. Other than that, I chose to just accessorise with a Tiffany’s necklace and some mini hoop earrings from Fossil.
